Wow! I have been loving the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes (Phew.. that was a mouthful to say).
On a whim one day, while I was searching for eyelash glue which I never got around to, I stumbled upon these fabulous polishes! While I was searching through the tub of polishes for the colours I wanted, I overheard the girl next to me said "they were the best nail polishes just like salon manicures". Hearing this, sealed my fate in buying these nail polishes. It was either one for $4.95 (AUD) or 3 for $10. Of course, I was going for the 3! That day I ended up buying 6 of the nail polishes. Later, I discovered the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes retails at $14.95 each. What a bargain I had scored!
What I love most about the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes is the brush tip. Being someone who hates waiting for nail polishes to dry and always get nail polishes around my fingers near my nails, this brush tip was, the God of all nail polish brush tips. The bristles were thick yet soft, but not too soft that you couldn't control the brush. The brush was layer at the ends coming into a U shape. This allows for an easy and mess free application on the nails. It is curved so when painting the nail polish your cuticles (which are also curved) can remain polish free.
You can see the brush tip here.
Another thing I love about this nail polish, is how quick it dries. It only takes a few minutes for it to dry with just 1 coat of polish. I usually do my nails at night and even if I do it during the day, I tend to touch things or move around, ruining my newly done nails in the process. I use OPI start to finish as my base and top coat. Being someone who is always doing something with my hands, the 1 coat can last me up to 4 days until it starts chipping, which is amazing for me; other nail polishes tend to chip after 2 days. It is even better than my OPI.
So what are you waiting for? Go get yourself a bottle and try it. Since they were such a bargain, I went back and got 6 more colours. I now have 12 colours from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure range. That won't be the end of my collection from that range. :-)
I bought my Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes from Gloss Accessories at Chadstone. I checked their online site and they don't seem to have it on there. Alternatively you can purchase it at Priceline ($12.70-$14.95) or Chemist Warehouse ($9.99).
